    • Gintani offering G1000 Lamborghini Huracan and Audi R8 5.2 V10 twin turbo kits tuned on factory DME - Bolt on 1000+ hp

Looking for big power for your Lamborghini Huracan 5.2 V10 or Audi R8 V10 5.2? Want turbochargers but do not want to break the bank? Well, it is difficult to argue against the Gintani G1000 twin turbo kit which will provide over 1000 crank horsepower.

They are able to get this output while tuning the car on the factory ECU no less. Additionally, on the factory engine internals and the factory transmission.

      Need proof?

Serious, serious power. That is with VP Import + Meth at 10 psi.

There are of course options which raise the price but if you go with their standard bolt on kit it pricing starts in the $30k range.

This is enough power to go 192+ in the 1/2 mile as the video below shows.

Definitely an option for 5.2 V10 owners to consider.

Agreed for now. Let's see what level they decide to build to.

It's tempting to not want to get an R8 or Huracan and send it over to them for one of these.

I mean, 950+ whp on the stock internals and all wheel drive + DCT? Damn...

I agree, must be a thrill!! BTW I havent posted it because I'm lazy but I traded my I8 and finally got a 570S like I have wanted. I came across a post I made on here over 2 years ago saying 570 will be my next car. Loving it so far

Was this on their mustang dyno? Either way, strong numbers for a bolt on kit.

the graphs look very similar to Sticky's 911 graphs so I would lean towards, yes Mustang.

Yep it's their Mustang although I'm not sure if it is their old one or new one or an old calibration or what.

I have to ask them what they're doing with the dyno.

Why do you think I've wanted an R8 for the longest time?

I get it. Makes me want one too.

Maybe I will but I love my Porsche.

I test drove the R8 V10 base model and honestly it was not as fun or raw as a 991.2 C2S and especially not the GTS. Obviously that equation changes if you add 500 WHP, but still was a little let down. It was just too tame and easy to drive, no sense of excitement.

I haven't driven one but interesting comment.

Honestly, I love my 911. There's nothing wrong with it. I only intend to add more power and it's a ton of fun to drive.

With the PDK upgraded and making ~700 whp I might as well hold onto it for a bit.

I really think that would be a more exciting package than even an ~850 WHP R8. Lower weight, RWD, and just the way any Porsche drives...hard to match. Maybe the R8 RWS is a different story, cheaper price point, lighter, supposedly enthusiast oriented, haven't had the chance to test it so I can't say for certain.

I traded in my 997 Turbo with about 75 extra hp for a 2017 R8 Plus and I couldn’t be happier. I have a VF supercharger but it’s currently at Gintani getting the G 1000 kit installed. I totally understand why many of you enjoy RWD so much but now that my R8 is pushing such insane power, I’m really glad I have AWD. I’m also a pretty big guy and the R8 is by far the most comfortable supercar around. I could understand comparing a stock 911 turbo to a stock R8 but with the TT kit, I feel the R8 is simply in a whole other league. I certainly have nothing bad to say about Porsche. I thoroughly enjoyed every minute behind the wheel of my Porsche.

The G1000 is not a bad way to go. Let us know how you like it when Gintani completes it.

My Porsche is still sitting there waiting for them to wrap it up...

I am not sure if it gets much better than a daily drive-able, Bugatti killing, AWD TT V10 w/DCT...I would personally prefer the Huracan but the R8 is less flashy and roomier as KamikazeOtter explained.

How long has your 911 been sitting at Gintani waiting for them to wrap it up?

I'm not sure. It's not entirely their fault as nobody released PDK tuning. Cobb is sitting on it from what I hear but I doubt they could help regardless.

When Gintani figures out they will be the first ones to do it. Then I can finally have my car back and start smacking 991 Turbos around.
